This tweet sent out 14 hours BEFORE the crash needs to be immortalized in stone.

Or on a plaque in every ATC tower.

Or on a disclaimer before every Mayday: Air Disaster episode.

Or on an Amber Alert type system to every American.

Or on a stamp.

Or maybe currency.

Another former Tory MP has defected to the Reform Party after previously claiming to be offered money to do so.

Back in July they said they “tried to bribe me with an £80,000 job”.

Bribery has no place in our politics. This needs to be investigated.

In 2023, California enacted a law requiring fast food restaurants with more than 60 locations to pay workers a minimum of $20 per hour. More than 700,000 people work in California's fast food industry.

Almost immediately, Americans were told the law would devastate California's fast food industry.
What really happened after California raised its minimum wage to $20 for fast food workers
What would happen to the fast food industry if it had to pay its workers something closer to a living wage?

U.K. HE has been fcuked by the visa change introduced by the Tories. But far worse is that a Labour govt hasn’t reversed it. Instead it sits back and watches UK universities go to the wall. They are a disgrace. They say they want to boost growth but do everything possible to cause decline not growth.

What strikes me on a full reading of this paper is that there is a UK-EU agenda for which UK Ministers can be making an active public case.

Actually so could EU politicians.

That this isn't happening is recent history, but also a lot to do with European politics. Populists are loud, others timid.
The next step in the UK-EU 'reset' is to shape the agenda for the coming years. With that in mind former Commission senior negotiator Ignacio Garcia-Bercero has an important paper out today on what this could look like in trade.
