Oh, look out! 👀 Evertonian
And with one unnecessarily risky line up, there goes much of the feel good factor.

Ah well, g’night Blues….

Imagine the fume if Pickford got sent off and Moyes lost his mind and substituted Grealish, Ndiaye and Dewsbury-Hall…

Apparently the official rule number for quick free kicks is Law 13. Also, it seems a yellow card should not be given for simply taking a quick free kick itself. Unless your at Anfield and your name is Darren England 🤷🏻‍♂️
Is there a stat for people getting yellows for taking free kicks quickly.... genuinely can't remember that happening? And what rule covers it?

Absolutely incredible.
Today was the first PL game since May 2024 that has only had 3 mins stoppage time. Every single game since May 2024 has had more - until today.🤯
Not once in 410 Premier League games has there been 3 (or fewer) minutes added on for stoppage time.

Not once…. Until today.

A good night for:

Charly Alcaraz - lovely goal

Harrison Armstrong - excellent all-round display

Seamus Coleman - first full game since Aug 2024 and still effective. So good seeing him having an impact

Everton - through to round 3 of Carabao Cup

Job done

A plume of blue smoke seen across the Mersey. A cacophony of noise (110 decibels, to be precise) to greet Ndiaye's goal - Everton's first in the PL at the new stadium

Plenty of new but some echoes of Goodison
