Two very historic dates in the ongoing story of Everton Football Club. 💙⚽️

With 3 points separating 8th from 14th (8 from 4/14), highly likely #EFC will bounce around. Obviously after 38th game, absolute position key. But follow points trajectory. Start season I saw 50 pts as ‘tangible progress’. If we repeat 1st half, we get to 56 pts. Wins not draws key

From total domination to 0 points is extremely frustrating.

I like that O’Brien kid, he was there in my time… must have been in the reserves though, I don’t remember him. If he was available I may still be there…

Referee was terrible again, so I’ve posted shit through his letter box

Toney would fit this team very well, score goals but wages were always going to be a deal breaking issue
🗞️The wages of Al Ahli Striker Ivan Toney are beyond Everton’s reach. While Roma’s Artem Dovbyk has also been considered

Clearly, Politics and Sport do mix in this case

Gabon's government has suspended the national team, banned striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and sacked coach Thierry Mouyouma after their exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.

My favourite '25 moments (not necessarily best goals)

1. Tarky
2. N'Diaye v Sunderland
3. KDH v Utd
4. Jack's tackle v CP
5. N'Diaye's seagull impression
6. Barry Mark 2
7. Barry Mark 1
8. N'Diaye Numero Uno at HDS

A healthy and happy 2026 to Evertonians across the globe. And a big thank you to David Moyes and his team for a year that has restored belief and pride after the unrelenting darkness. #EFC #UTFT

Hearing hell is freezing over 👇
Man City have spent more than £500m pounds on new talent since being charged with more than 100 Premier League rule breaches. As another window opens, they’re poised to add another top talent, and still there is no ruling. Shames the Premier League how long it’s taken. Man City deny the allegations

From January to May, Moyes earned 1.56 points per match. Over 38 games that equates to 59 points.

Moyes has now managed 38 league games and has amassed... 59 points.

He's consistent! It was 61 points that was enough to see Everton and Moyes finish fourth in 2005.

Thierno Barry's first 2 goals for #EFC have come against the same opponent (Nottingham Forest) but in different games - the first player to do so since Nikola Vlasic against Apollon Limassol in 2017, and the first player to do so in league games only since Alan Ainscow against Birmingham in 1981/82.

Perhaps biggest positive of being a Blue in '25, has been the rewards our brilliant away support has enjoyed. After a decade of dross & disaapointments, they've enjoyed 9 away wins. Extraordinary loyalty rewarded & DM /players have worked very hard to bring that. Platform for growth #UTFT

Since before the last game at Goodison, that‘s now 300 minutes that Everton haven’t conceded a goal with Jake O’Brien at centre-back.
