Proper LOLs at Suella Braverman defecting to Reform...

The party that’s spent years attacking the Home Office has just welcomed the person who actually ran the Home Office.

Brilliant work lads.

This will be the first senior men’s international match played on Merseyside in over 20 years.
The last senior international match played on Merseyside was England vs Uruguay on March 1, 2006 at Anfield.
The last senior international match played at Goodison was Brazil vs Japan on May 22, 1995.

This will be only the 3rd time in history that Scotland have played a ‘home’ international game outside of Scotland but in the U.K., against non-UK opposition.
The previous 2 times were:
Scotland vs Brazil at Wembley in March 2011.
Scotland vs Nigeria at Wembley in May 2014.

We have 2 strikers, why would we loan one of them out? 😭
The only way Beto leaves this month is if we got a big fee for him & even then we’d need to have someone lined up to replace him.
🚨Juventus have had a loan bid rejected by Everton for Beto

I see another Tory has joined Reform.
It boggles the mind that they continue to fare well in the polls when they’re recruiting the very worst of the Tories who people soundly rejected 18 months ago.
I get people don’t like Labour but Reform isn’t the answer, to any problem.

It’s sad that it now feels nostalgic when we hear from Obama. A reminder of when the US/the world was far more normal.

He wasn’t blocked in 2015 but the key London-centric people in charge put all their eggs in the Corbyn basket. I was at a Burnham hustings. Spoke brilliantly then 2 Corbyn plants from London piped up & started ripping into him. Security had to eject them. Knew from that moment he was done for.

Sad thing about Burnham is this isn’t the first time that the Labour kingmakers have stopped him from becoming Labour leader. They blocked him in 2015 by cheerleading Corbyn into leadership. Doing it again now courtesy of Starmer loyalists. They’re scared of him. There’s a reason why he’s popular.

Tomorrow I will return with full focus to my role as Mayor of Greater Manchester, defending everything we have built in our city-region over many years.

I decided to put myself forward to prevent the divisive politics of Reform damaging that. We are stronger together and let’s stay that way. 💪🏻

I am disappointed by today’s NEC decision and concerned about its potential impact on the important elections ahead of us.

If Everton truly want Europe next season, tomorrow would be the ideal time to take a step towards that. It’s going to be very hard vs Leeds but it was also ‘hard’ vs Villa last week. Time to stand up & be counted. Let’s get the stadium rocking tomorrow night, it’s time we lifted the atmosphere. COYB
