Jack Smith Testimony released today: “President Trump was by a large measure the most culpable and most responsible person in this conspiracy. These crimes were committed for his benefit. The attack that happened at the Capitol…does not happen without him”

Not one but two scary things here. First, most obviously: 100 million. Close to a 1/3 of U.S. now deemed not-American. Yes, it's trolling. Yes, AND. Second: It's simultaneously a nod toward an old imaginary white US, & an emptied out post-apocalypse. It's acknowledging the ambition is cataclysm.

As you read both the Jack Smith testimony about Trump inciting the Jan 6 terrorist attack and the WSJ report on Trump providing young women to Jeffrey Epstein it reminds us that Donald Trump should right now be in a prison cell--where he would remain for the rest of his unnatural life!

Trump retreating for now from his explicitly stated ambition of militarily occupying US cities. Hooray! Happy New Year! Don't forget he'll try again! And let's remember some of what worked, even if there are parts yr not a fan of: Protest! Courts. Journalism. Mayors. Military slow-walking.

DHS now says it's aiming for 100 million deportations. In an amazing coincidence, there are 104 million Black and Hispanic people living in the U.S. right now.

The move follows the Supreme Court’s decision last week that found Trump could not deploy guard members to Chicago, ruling that the president did not meet the requirements to send guard members to the Windy City for the purpose of assisting with federal immigration enforcement.

On Jack Smith deposition, now released:

100% obvious why GOP refused to allow this as open testimony, aired live. It's damning.

Testimony from John Dean or Alex ("wiretaps") Butterfield in Watergate days would have 1/10th the impact if just in print.

What Smith says is far more incriminating.

Trump: "We can never let what happened in the 2020 election happen again. We just can't let that happen. I know Kash is working on it, everybody is working on it. And certainly Tulsi is working on it. We can't let that happen again to our country."
