The racialised aspect of "grooming gangs" discourse is an active cover-up for a serial Police corruption scandal, and I would not be surprised if it's one day found out that people who pushed it like "Tommy Robinson" are on the Special Branch payroll.
I see the more of the truth is coming out about Rotherham. That no, in fact the police weren't afraid of being racist but were rather knee-deep in the conspiracy, abusing kids, selling drugs and who knows what else. The media more than happy to aid the police and pin the blame on brown people.
