It really shouldn't be a crime to write gay fictions but we tend to forget some countries cannot tolerate this.
The hypocrisy of making soft adaptations by removing all the gayness like in the show The Untamed, making bank and then arresting other authors making similar work is what makes me mad.

I didnt realize it wasnt obvious until a couple DMs, but folks who need mutual aid to survive ask for gift cards or wishlist items bc:
- low chance of affecting benefits negatively
- can get wants & needs without pulling from desperate survival fund
- alleviates spending while struggling guilt

In a lot of ways other leftists chose this path folks. They shrugged and didn’t care when Patreon banned a ton of hypnosis and TF creators, or when YouTube started their ASMR crackdown. Now it’s coming for queer porn creators, more and more. Who will stand up?

This particular passage from Paradise Lost is one of those things that has stuck with me and affects how I see the world constantly. It really feels like it rewired my brain, to use the cliché.
