The OCR for ALT text here is pretty impressive. It didn’t get “Brakhage’s black magic” correct (which is such a deep cut joke to myself that literally nobody will care about anyway), but it totally read “fuck” correctly both times (also put in an asterisk * for the star in the margin).

The comment section on downdetector is hilarious. Ticking up faster than the numbers on a gas pump. Doubled from 4k+ to 8k+ in less than an hour.

One very real effect of nonsensical, unscientific verbiage is that institutions mitigate their own risks by over-complying. We saw it with hospitals in states with abortion bans yeeting pregnant women with complications. It will get “easier” to be like “no trans stuff pls.” It’s intentional.

Because the Constitution isn’t magic… it only works if enforced (through courts).

Yeah. I know what you are saying is part of the standard belief structure, so I'm not criticizing you for saying it. I just don't believe it. I think people knew what they were voting for or staying home to let happen.
