Most of me really wishes WB could go back to being its own thing and we could avoid all the shareholder fuckery, especially since mergers almost always make things worse; but the smaller part of me is just relieved that Zaslav won't be able to destroy WB's legacy any more.

Starting tomorrow I have to fight the daily urge not to get started on Christmas decorating until the day after Thanksgiving because it's against the law. Some people do not respect the boundaries of the holiday season but the rules are the rules.

I only really just dipped my toe in so far but, as tired as I have gotten of claims that things are the "spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger", this one seems like it might live up to the claim. The intro chapter alone has something really fundamental in it that kinda grabbed my soul. AND THE ART!

A son of an acquaintance was showing me screenshots of his "good" art and then meekly showed me his earliest stuff with the caveat that it was *bad* and I had to explain why seeing naive childlike art makes my heart burn with the knowledge that you lose the ability to make it as your skill improves.
ANYONE CAN MAKE ART. Did you make some shitty little amateur scribble but you put your whole artussy into it? Congrats you’re a fuckin artist, nobody can take that from you.

I'd also like to add the goofy long-legged right-angle power stride (does it have a name?) to the list of fun but visually awkward methods of superior leg locomotion.
