Depressing.Reminds me of the quote If someone says it’s raining and another person says it’s dry, it’s not your job to quote them both. It’s your job to look out the window and find out which is true.” The BBC bends over backwards for climate deniers etc. I lost trust in it years ago

The fact that there even has to be a long post ‘justifying’ why that memorial should have remained is telling in itself. We never need to ‘justify’ white soldiers’ memorials. We are in such a terrible place right now.
