As expected, the Trump team is already deleting climate info from government websites. In anticipation, our team at Urban Ocean Lab created a permanent archive of 100+ key resources and published a permanent archive: www.urbanoceanlab.org/resource-hub 👩🏽‍💻

Evergreen— one of the most personally impactful pieces anyone’s written over this past decade. I highly recommend all of Sarah’s work to better approach our present with context and humanity:

"[W]hat rules + laws we are willing to break[?] What lines are we willing to cross? What are we unwilling to passively accept? To create as much justice + safety as possible, we have to defy authority... We must build a rebellious culture of care in defiance of a death-making culture of greed."

Happy to be one of the Jewish writers who's signed this letter.
"We refuse the false choice between Jewish safety and Palestinian freedom; between Jewish identity and ending the oppression of Palestinians. In fact, we believe the rights of Jews and Palestinians go hand-in-hand."
A Dangerous Conflation
We are Jewish writers, artists, and activists who wish to disavow the widespread narrative that any criticism of Israel is inherently antisemitic. Israel and its defenders have long used this rhetoric...

When I was in college, I read the dusty old Lattimore *Odyssey* and loved it. I’ve never read *The Iliad* but I’m so excited to read Emily Wilson’s new translation. This bit from Wilson’s Translator’s Note is bracing and alive!!
Thank you to Charlotte Rosen and @publicbooks.bsky.social for publishing a section from my Translator's Note for the Iliad. If you're curious about my approach, please check it out!
