Mayor Thompson keeps throwing around the “out of towners” line, but this is a concentration camp that’s 35 minutes away from me. Broadview ICE Processing Center is a Chicagoland and national concern. We are overwhelmingly residents of Chicagoland and pastors/faith leaders did not use their fists.

Massie: "The president has been saying this is a hoax. Well, he's just now decided to investigate a hoax, if it's a hoax. And I have another concern about these investigations he's announced. If they have ongoing investigations, those documents can't be released. So this might be a big smokescreen."

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.
Calvin Duncan wins Orleans clerk of court race - Verite News New Orleans
Duncan, a political newcomer and former prisoner, defeated incumbent Darren Lombard by a wide margin in Saturday's runoff.

I'm sitting on my patio on a sunny, slightly chill Florida morning listening to the @mswmedia.com podcast "Unjustified" - one that I look forward to every Sunday morning. Andy McCabe was just talking about how many career FBI agents have been summarily fired by Patel. One may recall that

Both parties should support this. Using AI to generate a video of a candidate saying something he didn’t say should be illegal. Especially since many voters think it is real. I will condemn any candidate from either party who does this.

To be very clear, Virginia Giuffre was made to say she mistakenly identified Alan Dershowitz as one of the people who sexually abused her. Here is the proof from this week's Epstein files dropped by the House Oversight Committee.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

Sorry to add to the discourse but it's truly grotesque to sell a story about aiding this man's quest for power (in the name of love, of course, not support for a eugenicist's agenda) only to wave away questions about the ensuing societal damage as a matter for pundits.
