focus on balancing these aspects. The aims are both to improve
the quality of AI-assisted tasks and also to empower users to develop their skills and maintain a balanced “relationship” with AI.
To address task confidence recalibration, AI tools could incorporate feedback mechanisms that help users gauge the reliability of
AI outputs, when to trust the AI and when to apply their critical

I really don't think I've ever seen a technology that is so singularly effective at taking a pre-existing form of rot or brokenness in institutions and lighting it on fire.

don’t know the specific topic [e.g., translation and math problems],
it’s hard to determine whether the AI is giving the correct answer or
not.”
Even if knowledge workers identify limitations in the GenAI
output, they encounter barriers in revising queries and improving the response (72/319). For example, P239 received negative
feedback from colleagues for a document that ChatGPT helped
her write, but “I’m not sure how I could have improved the text that
ChatGPT wrote.” Also, GenAI tools can be “stubborn” and do not
follow through with users’ revised prompts, as P208 shared when
asking GenAI to fix an error in his code: “it repeatedly recommended

Microsoft's own research confirms something that was already pretty obvious: relying on a text generating machine to come up with answers erodes critical thinking, and is a method favoured by those who never liked doing critical thinking in the first place

I feel like videogames actually do provide a pretty accurate representation of real life right now because a lot of videogames are like “THE WORLD IS ENDING” and then you just collect herbs and pretend nothing is wrong

Starter packs are great but worth considering making hyper-specific packs into Feeds! That way people can, for example, follow regular updates specifically from everyone that works at your publication. I’m less likely to follow a gazillion starter pack people then I am to simply follow one feed!
