Just saw Superman! There was a lot I liked about it, but one of the things I liked was that the two instances (to my memory) of slow mo in the film were
1) a classic "Snyder-esque" slow mo hero shot of Superman saving a little girl
2) Lex Luthors pencils dramatically hitting the floor
