They run them bc people react to them the most.
If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s exactly this. The right now isn’t an aspiration movement. It’s fed by making liberals feel bad. Nihilistic, mean, joyless.
The thing about Twitter versus Bluesky is that the right needs liberals on Twitter to make it feel worthwhile, whereas the left doesn’t need conservatives on Bluesky to make it feel worthwhile.
