Over the last few weeks I've become completely incapable of answering the question 'how are you' like a normal human being. I just sort of end up staring emptily at the person. Like, how the fuck do you think I am? I am full of hate and horror and moral purpose. How are you?

So the anti-corruption minister has now had to resign over.. corruption. Come on Labour you need to be visibly better than what came before! Prove to people that not all politicians are the same, this is not how you do that.

Deleted Facebook, Instagram and Threads from my phone, feeling clean and at a bit of a loss; was doom scrolling far too much daily it seems. Can’t bring myself to delete my accounts fully yet as there are some family I can only get on FB messenger and WhatsApp.. how to persuade everyone to Signal?

We don't defeat populists by calling out their lies. We tried that. Facts are complicated, and the audience for populism wants simplicity. It won't work.
