It's a stat that fluctuates a lot but Yamamoto is now fifth all-time in postseason cWPA, behind Mariano Rivera, Madison Bumgarner, Rollie Fingers, and ... Art Nehf
Just want to make sure Klein doesn't get lost.

The logic of going short-term in the outfield to bridge to de Paula and Hope makes sense. The idea that they’d do that with Ryan Ward does not.

@FabianArdaya It wouldn't surprise anyone to see the Dodgers pursue Kyle Tucker this winter. There's also a real scenario where they go for a stopgap option – perhaps even Ryan Ward – as they sort through their outfield this winter.

A sin not to include the comebacker catch to end the 17th in this video but still fun to re-watch. I love him grinning while his spikes are cleaned and then turning the adrenaline back on www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_NU...
BULLPEN SAVIOR! Will Klein pitches four scoreless innings for the Dodgers! (5 Ks, earns the win!) 🔥

I'm not super enthused by Tucker but the Dodgers should probably just sign him anyways because what's the downside of a "bad" contract when you have all of the money

This is going to see some use

If you’re seeing this viral claim that Trump is working on 15-year car loans, it’s fake.

This opinion brought to you by ESPNBet
ESPN's Michael Wilbon nonchalant about the federal indictments against two MLB players this morning:

"I don't care ... because at the highest levels of the pyramid in this country, of this culture, everybody's betting now."

@RaysPR The Tampa Bay Rays have traded OF Kameron Misner to the Kansas City Royals in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

If they know they are bad why are they allowed at all
MLB announces that all authorized betting partners will now cap wagers on pitch-level bets at $200 and exclude them from parlays. Pitch-level bets, you may remember, are the kind Clase, Ortiz, and their co-conspirators allegedly exploited.

Roki Sasaki, NLCS+WS: 5-1/3IP, 1R, 1K, 5BB (and one HBP). Good results but it’s generally not what leads to long-term success. Hoping that the main lesson especially from early playoff games is “your stuff is good enough to attack hitters” but I’m still pretty tentative about next year

It’s “get extremely irritated by the existence of gas-powered leaf blowers” season

Tatsuya Imai’s stuff is legit and should play. Question for me is the arm slot and if he’ll be able to limit damage from lefties. Also only one year of low walk rates. He’s probably getting a nine digit contract and I don’t really see the Dodgers in play due to their existing pitching depth

This is one of the pitches that was supposed to be a ball, but Andy Pages swung anyways.

This was my reaction too. That was all it took for them to destroy their careers?
So the prop bet thing wouldn't be right if these Cleveland relievers were paid more money for those balls but uh. Really? A few thousand bucks here and there and you're willing to risk it all? Clase was earning $4.9 million in 2025 before the leave, do some math there guys.

I’ve gotten shit for this from Astros fans on Twitter before, but my grandmother died in 2019. She was a huge Dodgers fan. Time is finite, and winning recently doesn’t give her a championship to root for.
Love how these people see sports as transactional. Like "your team has won recently, so don't complain".

But if you care about the players/moments and not laundry, then you never get that 2017 team or those moments back. No shit people care, just like you're whining now over the Blue Jays gagging.
