Official job title is Genius, but I just work at a fruit stand. IYKYK. Husband. Father. Making sure I give as much as I can to those around me. All posts express my own opinions.
So much depends on perspective.

Trump is like a serial killer.
His “type” is people of no financial value to him: us.
He has no empathy.
He’s constantly leaving clues about how he’s destroying lives.
He’s constantly stating how clever he is.
He’s injected himself into the investigation at the highest level.
He has copycats.

This isn't true. We keep all of it in a bag. We won't take his calls because he won't stop asking for the bag.
The Onion is pretty rigorous about drug testing its employees, but it just throws away all the leftover piss and won't take my calls even though they claim to need the money

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

Is it intentional that the progress bar appears to be above the icon on the left side but below the icon on the right side (when not filled in)? I just noticed it and it hurts my brain now. 😉

Still looking. Tough market.
For family reasons, I need to transition to a remote career.
Searching for a job which pays the bills and allows me to serve others genuinely and generously.
Once, that was the fruit stand. But they’ve changed. The money’s good, but not worth the abuse.
So… Genius for hire? 🫣

Got suspended for 7 days over on Elon’s hellscape, so I guess I’ll try hanging out here again!

Are you a parent of a trans kid in #Houston ISD? I'd love to speak to you about your experiences in the district and recent comments from Gov. Abbott for a story, can be on or off the record and I can take steps to protect you and your child's identity.

Wouldn’t it be more efficient to transport them somewhere by train? We could even have them build the tracks to wherever we want to send them. And when they get there, we could have them build someplace to live for themselves. I can’t believe nobody’s thought of this before!
Yo DOGE idiots, the GlobeMaster C-17 used to transport 104 individuals deported to India cost $28K/hr to fly. At 35 hrs round trip for this military transport, it will cost US taxpayers $980K. Have you considered using Expedia? So much for “efficiency”. Dolts.

Sooo… the NYPD works for Amazon? Isn’t this a job for private security?
‪NYPD makes workers show physical Amazon ID cards in order to remain on property. One worker, who has her ID on her phone, is kicked off the property (along with press) and made to go home to get her physical badge.‬

Welcome back, my witty and beautiful friend. I'll defend to the death your right to defend your head and heart.

Maybe not to the death. At least "to the pain".

It’s worth noting that shutting down the government unequally impacts poor people. That’s why it’s such a disaster when it happens.
So Trump & Elon stating they want the government shut down is a tacit admission that poor people mean nothing in their vision of society.

This will not end well for anyone involved.

Boy. It sure does seem like killing someone with a gun is a really bad thing requiring the involvement of the federal government… unless the victim isn’t a rich white guy.
The suspect in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare’s chief executive on a Manhattan sidewalk this month will now face federal charges in addition to the state murder indictment brought against him, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.
Suspect in Insurance C.E.O.’s Murder Is Said to Face Federal Charges
The nature of the potential charges against Luigi Mangione was unclear, but they could allow federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty.
