Police decision to ban Maccabi fans from Villa increasingly feels like it was taken to give them an easy life. Are Tel Aviv fans all a nice bunch? No. Should they all be banned? Also no. WMP needs to work out a plan to ensure it works.

The whole China wrangle encapsulates the foreign policy dilemma that post-Brexit Britain is in. China is the coming economic power, but also a real threat. The US is not currently a reliable ally and may not be for some time, if at all. And we have drawn up the drawbridge from the EU.

Kari Lake (“acting CEO” of USAGM) appears to have a fundamental misunderstanding of VOA. It’s always been 100% federal government, not a grantee (e.g. RFE/RL, RFA, MBN). And VOA’s unbiased, non-partisan journalism is mandated by law.

Tremendous intervention in the Commons from Richard Burgon complaining that Mandelson retains the Labour whip that has been taken away from Rachael Maskell and Diane Abbott. Except ... he resigned the whip in the Lords before becoming ambo.
