Q: do we need more pipelines or just more refineries? If our goal is energy independence and competitive edge, it might be the latter - 79% of TMX’s capacity was for export. Our goal should be making energy less costly for ALL Canadians, not necessarily just more profitable for some Albertans.

Tariffs didn’t make Canada the 45th state, and they won’t make us the 51st.

One reason for the tariffs was to force the annexation of Canada. The McKinley Tariff declined to make an exception for Canadian products.
It was hoped this would make Canada more reliant on the US market, and push Canadians to become the 45th state.

The hearing invited Texas Mineral Resources who explained how Greenland has natural resources which can be used in Tesla/US car batteries.

Turns out being supported by the same people who support Trump, copying Trumps lazy insult lines, doing Trump-like things like refusing to get the normal security clearance (assuming he CAN get it), & generally wanting to BE Canada’s Trump isn’t all that popular in Canada.
