PS: CoD is a £99.99 game.
Apparently the new Call of Duty is bad and I’m honestly confused as to how this happened because it sounds like bungling Madden or FIFA. You’re an army man with a gun. You shoot the army men with guns who have the audacity to be from somewhere else. The rules worked fine in 2004 and haven’t changed.

Unacceptable
Shabana Mahmood on the BBC this morning talking about desperate people fleeing war and persecution as being given a "golden ticket" and "handouts" and saying she's got a "moral mission" to take them away from them

Indistinguishable from the rhetoric of Reform www.adambienkov.co.uk/p/shabana-ma...
Shabana Mahmood and the Politics of Extortion
Labour's strategy of telling its supporters to back Reform-style policies, or get a Reform Government, is the politics of the protection racket and it is not going to work

Good question, why are we paying someone, from the public purse, to shit on us in the USA?

🌍 42.5m refugees
Over 70% of them are hosted by low- and middle-income countries.

🇬🇧 548k refugees
= 0.78% of the UK population.

It is not refugees who tear our country apart, it is the mainstreaming of far right policies. And that’s a risk to all of us.

My letter to my MP.

Either Trump is threatening UK Labour, or they have gone collectively insane.
Either way; they all need to consider their positions.
Somebody is briefing the Times that the Home Secretary finds inspiration in Kristi Noem's leading the Trump mass deportation effort - which has gone much too far for Americans

What a kamikaze piece of political madness that is on the eve of their asylum package

Why is this govt with a huge majority refusing to face reality?
You could just rejoin the Single Market and solve the vast majority of the problems at a stroke.

The best defence is a good offence. If Trump wants to play regime change games then other countries should participate. Mexico, Canada, and Denmark must push their intelligence agencies to undermine Trump, disrupt its crypto money laundering flow, release blackmail, and overthrow it.

No politician listens when told that they are reacting to non-existent problems that have been fed to them by social media algorithms. They are so genuinely stupid as to believe that what people tell them on doorsteps is a description of reality
Even before algorithms existed, Hannah Arendt wrote about “public opinion” & its failure, as an industry & a concept, to reflect either the public or its opinions. Algorithms = new name & driver of same problem. “Grounded priorities” is a good alternative North point for a better political compass.
Governments and voters are both reacting to algorithm-shaped “public opinion,” not grounded priorities. Immigration feels urgent because platforms amplify fear, pulling parties into hollow performances of toughness. The far right reads that drift as confirmation it’s winning.

Now imagine if other nations applied this policy to people fleeing the UK.
Or, for instance, asking a Court to decide when it is *safe* to return to Yemen, or Palestine, or Southern Sudan.
UK Labour have got this so terribly wrong.

That is $10m or so pissed away on tokens alone.
$100m in total costs that *could and should* have been given to humans for their time and thinking.
Instead, it went to capital, and is now in some tax haven…

My guess? Millar and Vance and Musk will send Trump into the bunker, where they’ll feed him with non-stop fake video of how he is winning.
Meanwhile, above ground, they will feed the public with A.I. faked video of Trump issuing executive orders that they have drafted.

I want to see ICE + DHS + HBI in the USA labelled as State Funded Terrorism, and all its members subject to arrest in any other CIVILISED nation
ICE now has a budget bigger than most militaries around the world and has increased spending on weapons.

It's also engaging in a race to recruit 10,000 new agents who will eventually be out in American streets.

Some will be vetted, but how many unqualified recruits will fall through the cracks?
