New: The FBI is quietly urging ICE agents to properly ID themselves in the field.

In a bulletin to law enforcement last month, it warned of criminals posing as ICE to rob, rape, kidnap—a problem it says now demands national coordination to confront.

Police and family found a woman dead in a hot apartment Monday evening in St. Ann, and her apartment did not have air conditioning running when officers arrived.

Ameren Missouri had shut off the 55-year-old’s electricity for nonpayment on June 11.

Gateway Pet Guardians in East St. Louis is asking for help from the public after an air conditioning failure on its main adoption floor.

The shelter is encouraging those who can help to come to the shelter from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday or 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
