Boxing Day hunts could soon be a thing of the past with trail hunting now set to be banned.

Activists warn that foxes are still frequently mauled by dogs during trail hunts, and last season alone, nearly 1,600 incidents were reported across the UK.

This cruelty has gone on for too long.

The data is clear: FPTP is the worst voting system for women's representation.

The Inter-Parliamentary Union finds year after year that PR is associated with more gender-equal parliaments.

Think of all the talented women that our system shuts out of politics, and the difference they could make.

Although Starmer is now more critical of Brexit, he is still couching it in terms of it being implemented badly, rather than inherently unworkable.

This is a gift to Reform, and makes it clear that Labour's Brexit position, if it's shifting at all, is doing so with the speed of continental drift.

Effective tax rates will rise, but public trust won’t.

Honesty about the challenges is essential for trust.

Pledge no income tax rises, hint at them, backtrack, then effectively deliver them via a threshold freeze - no wonder voters conclude they can’t trust what politicians say.
