This is part of what’s so insane. As they talk about re-shoring and manufacturing they are actively trying to destroy an entire us manufacturing industry that already exists.
Billions of dollars in clean energy projects have been canceled since Donald Trump took office again — leaving thousands of jobs and the shift to clean energy in doubt.

to me the key question is whether the six conservatives on SCOTUS want to cede their power to interpret the constitution to Trump. that’s it!
unfortunately for the administration you cannot assert that a new and novel interpretation of the constitution is law with an executive order AND other constitutional officers have a say here too.

-Starting wages up by $2/hr.
-Senior workers get pay raised by as much as $7.75/hr.

I know companies squeezing customers is normal but the company I work for does the absolute most and it’s just so unethical to me. Most of are patients are stuck in nursing homes and we upcharge the fuck out of them for glasses they can’t get elsewhere. I feel so icky selling them glasses

i think rage at congestion pricing is a good example of how no one believes that the world can be positive sum anymore. like, people pay a small fee to get access to a faster commute — saving them valuable time — and the money improves public transit, saving other people valuable time. it's win-win!
