Hi Jon,

I'd love to get your thoughts on the nature of the "Resistance" in the US. We both agree that the Dems are being feckless. But I'm thinking about average protestors. It all feels very "vibe-centric" right now than driving to a proper goal, even a small one.

I realized today that I am more powerful than Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.

I can say Fuck You Donald Trump.

They may be richer but I am more powerful. And that is a trade I would make every single day.

So, you may ask, why do I get so angry about the new liberal spin on RFK Jr, as in, "he gets some things right, so let's collaborate on those" or "we have to work with him because he has a huge following we need to reach"? Because I've seen this movie before. 1/

Over at X, reading comments on a clip of Trump saying he would eliminate birthright citizenship, I was served an ad for a "documentary" from Tucker Carlson. Blocked it. In its place: Heritage ad. Blocked. Then Epoch Times. Blocked. Then Center For Immigration Studies.

Of course he is going to pardon them. To expect otherwise from a convicted felon who sent the rioters to The Capitol in the first place is disingenuous at best. This is the ultimate disrespect to law enforcement officers.

The president-elect also said in an exclusive interview with “Meet the Press” that he won’t request a special prosecutor to investigate outgoing President Joe Biden.

Some people who supported Palestinian freedom for the past 14 months seem upset about Syrians getting freedom from a dictator.

And a lot of people who spent the past 14 months opposing Palestinian freedom are now cheering Syrians getting freedom.

So much moral inconsistency.

I, like many of you, have been contemplating our predicament since election night.

We are in a losing war for our democracy and I'm not sure we collectively know who our true adversary is.

It's not the voting blocks...white women, Latinos, Gen X. It's not MAGA. It's not even Trump.
