The only solution I see is mandatory minimums. Most of the time mandatory minimums are political theater. But there are times they serve a purpose. This is one of them.

We might not be able to flip that seat, but we can at least boost turnout to help Jon Ossoff get another term. Case in point—Marcus Flowers juiced turnout enough in 2022 that it may have helped Raphael Warnock come within a few thousand votes of defeating Herschel Walker outright.

Even if you accept Gateway’s argument, no one should want to live in a world where the strongest protections afforded by the First Amendment allow a church to duck accountability for coddling a predator. Gateway deserves to be razed to the ground for making such an argument.
