Christian, American, liberal, Democrat—in that order. Politics with a side of sports.
FCC Consigliere—er, chairman—Brendan Carr merrily posts this…

Not at all surprised by this, @timfullerton.bsky.social. Pizzagate and QAnon were about silencing Dems. Plain and simple.

So this is how they explain that hug. At best—at best—both Vance and Erika have problems with boundaries.

They say Democrats are on the wrong side of 80-20 issues. Here’s an example of how right-wing evangelicals are wrong on 90-10 issues. This guy thinks we have no right to call out pastors who don’t have the guts to speak out on coddling child predators.

The canonization of Charlie Kirk continues. A nurse practitioner in Kentucky actually closed on Tuesday to remember him. Kirk’s murder was abhorrent. But what he espoused was also abhorrent. And what this facility did is abhorrent. Here’s the original: www.facebook.com/share/14MQey...

Ugh. @washingtonpost.com/ @postopinions.bsky.social is both-siding Jack Smith’s investigation and the indictment of @jamescomey.bsky.social If there was any doubt a once-great paper has lost its way, this should put it to rest. (h/t @rawstory.com)

Needed some good news today on the sports front after Carolina turned in its most embarrassing performance in recent memory and the Phillies lost a heartbreaker. Two weeks until the biggest game in recent Charlotte sports history.

And after being put on blast, he nuked his site as well. Apparently the guy who ran it was a Kossack—on paper he should know better.

This was done in our name. And we may have single-handedly ended any chance of freeing Venezuela. Maduro is a thug, but there is no defending this. Context: www.nytimes.com/2025/09/28/w...

And given his history, this is yet another indictment of mass incarceration. A bomb threat in 2021? How was he even among us? Brimmer’s family has every right to ask that question.

I’ve said for some time that Julie Roys did a shitty thing—a really shitty thing— to Jen Hatmaker when she announced Hatmaker’s divorce before Hatmaker could do so. But it looks even more shitty now when you put her defense of why she did what she did with her decision to buzz Hatmaker’s son.
September 24, 2025 at 3:44 PM
I knew Julie Roys' decision to "break" the news of Jen Hatmaker's divorce was a low blow. But just how low became clear in Hatmaker's memoir, "Awake." Hatmaker had essentially gone dark in order to mourn. Indeed, she hadn't had a chance to tell her family.

Sorry, no comparison. Griffin saw fit to go after a minor. She’s been dead to me since she declared open season on Barron. Kids are off limits.

As usual, Chaya has no sense of proportion. Chief Andrews wasn’t celebrating Kirk’s death. She specifically said he deserved empathy.
