The painful irony of all the people on the Right losing their minds and calling for blood is that they will never, not ever, in their invisible little lives, feel the fear, pain, hurt, suffering, or risk to their own existence that a trans, black, gay, woman, or marginalized person will ever feel.
My one and only long rant on the events that took place yesterday. It pains me that I even have to write something like this on the anniversary of 9-fucking-11. But...here we are.
The posts on Threads make me far, far angrier than the posts on Bluesky do. It also doesn't help that you can see the deranged posts people you follow are responding to. And when I say those original posts are deranged, I mean in a way that reads like the people posting them should be committed!

Look. I shot only black and white film all through college and even for a few years after I graduated. That said, I have ZERO CLUE why anyone...ANYONE...would pay $8,000 for a B&W only digital camera. Leicas are great cameras. But this is beyond luxury, it's bordering on the absurd.

Haven’t fallen in love with the multi function button that has replaced the dedicated silent button or the dedicated camera photo button. But I don’t hate them either. Just feel like I need to get used to both of them. I’m also not sure what else I’d set the former to other than “silent on/off.”

Damn. The microphone on the iPhone 17 Pro is really good in a pinch. I still prefer to attach my Rode or DJI mic to it for videos when I have time to do so. But when that’s not available, I’m very happy with how my voice sounds straight into the in phone mic.🎙️

I honestly don't know 80-85% of these streamers. More importantly...that's okay. I've known for a long time that the streams I watch and the streamers I gravitate towards are the weirdos and theater kids like myself. Being a TGA nominee is nice, but if you run a chill stream, that's a win, too!

It’s also a fully featured PC (according to steam) and if it’s spec’d out to hit 40k60p consistently, it’d be more reliable at doing that than any console currently on the market. Which means: it all comes down to price. That’ll determine whether it’s starter or not. Too expensive? Dealbreaker.

The reason I say 'maybe' is because while 13 GOP Reps are saying they'll vote 'no' now, they will likely come around when they're threatened with Primary challenges. It's the same reason why Democrats in the Senate concocted a way to vote 'yes' using members who are not up for re-election in 2026.
