The painful irony of all the people on the Right losing their minds and calling for blood is that they will never, not ever, in their invisible little lives, feel the fear, pain, hurt, suffering, or risk to their own existence that a trans, black, gay, woman, or marginalized person will ever feel.

If there is any silver lining to this PC hardware hellscape that we're living through (and it's a very thin one, I admit), it's that there are many games released in the last few years that are both great and don't require beastly machines to play them. Those do deserve a second look.

Trying to stay positive about the state of pc hardware and have proper info to give people when they ask me about gear and what they should do to build a pc in this environment. It’s getting real hard, though. Feels like I have to temper people’s expectations and that’s just unfair.

B&W photography always made sense to me in the analog world because it was easier and cheaper to develop than color negatives and prints. But in the digital age, I cannot fathom why people would pay thousands of dollars for a digital camera that only shoots black and white. That, to me, is silly.

Man, do I want that Jeri Ryan Star Trek show more than I want this version of Starfleet Academy. Not to be a hater, but I’m with you. They set that up perfectly and punted. Seems bonkers not to go that route, especially with SNW ending.
I am looking forward to the new Star Trek, Starfleet Academy, primarily because of Holly Hunter being the Captain this time. I've always loved her.
I wish we could get that Star Trek Legacy show with Jeri Ryan as the latest Enterprise captain. They set it up and so far haven't delivered.

Know I’m really late to the party. But the first episode of Fallout is really good. It’s kinda a heavy watch. But I’ve been waiting to start it for a long time. Tonight felt right. No particular reason why. It also looks…fantastic. One of the best shot shows I’ve seen lately.

Honestly, I’m torn. I thought the Cold Snap Arc Raider maps looked stunning and were fun to run around on. But, having a freezing mechanic with no augment, item, or gear to slow the freeze was a pain. Especially with the inconsistent shelter mechanic.

No. He won’t. He is not in charge of elections. And he cannot just send the military in to “seize voting machines.” He’s talking out of his ass. Not saying we shouldn’t be prepared for all forms of fuckery. He will try stuff, but we keep showing up to vote no matter what. And we’ll fucking win.
Just in case anyone has doubts about Trump's plans for the midterms, he now openly admits that he wishes he had order troops to seize all voting machines in 2020.

We have elections all this year and the midterms. If Dems continue to over perform as they have all last year, they’ll easily retake the house and maybe even the senate. Also, Republicans have already broken with Johnson and Thune in both chambers to pass bills with Dems because they’re under water.
