Wanting a director you don’t like to be murdered over movies is truly a great example of my other reason for not being down with the DCU. It’s an unambiguously a reward for people who’ve behaved like this since 2013.

Man of Steel feels like it isnt HOW Superman became Superman but WHY Superman became Superman. I think Snyder sees the kind of goodness that Superman represents only coming through profound loss and failure
