I've experienced this often enough to consider it a rule 🤠.
This is why, #Ibelieve, #writing, #literature, history, #anthropology, and preserving and allowing free access to #libraries is such a crucial requisite to #society.
Without the study of #history, we are doomed to repeat it 😑.

I'll occasionally read a book 💙📚 and think, "Wow, this book has such modern political under/overtones."

Then I see it's NOT modern and that it just reminds me that history always repeats itself, so I guess at least that makes older books feel relevant again.

Writing Tip:
An important (but difficult) lesson to learn is when to end a scene. We as writers often want to just keep adding more, but it's often better to end early/when it is dramatically appropriate. There's a well-known saying: 'get in late, get out early'.
