Hardcore Onetricking a Weapon in comp is stupid if you want to grind because every weapon reaches it's limit, whether it's the meta shifting or the weapon itself just not having more potential than you are squeezing out

So Splatoon players, why did we let Squidboards die again?
With all the recent talk about Splat 3 needing more/better guides this would be THE opportunity to use Squidboards as a tool for coaching (as an example).

The death of forums means that if you want to know some niche hobbyist thing it’s available on some Discord server that’s not indexable by Google Search where people probably ask the same questions again and again. Not great!

New Mini is a fun weapon in zones but outside of that i don't see it being a top tier weapon, Zooka spamming is fine but that's not enough i fear #compsplatoon

I talked about it very lightly on Kyo's stream but I don't think any event at least in an extremely long time could ever be called a "supermajor" but the SWS is definitely gonna fit it. The production value is great and having the 8 most stacked teams from both west and jp is a whole new level.

I feel like an important distinction I have with "support" is that its mostly about paint and entry tools. When talking about what supports are best, there's a scale to this, at the bottom end is a weapon like nsplash (paint/specials to the max but never wants to fight) the new mini is close to that

Is there a map or some other resource that shows you where to put Beacons on each map? Trying to use them more but i lowkey forget to place them because i barely know good beacon spots.
