I agree with this statement, I've reached pretty high ranks in other games and splatoon is just really hard. The TTK is insanely fast, mechanics matter here alot than other games, high APM, over 100 variation of maps/weapons, and gear building. At least getting into competitive matches is easy.
something i think we don't recognize enough is how genuinely difficult splatoon is
like. it is the fastest paced shooter game out there, with the most unique movement mechanics, and you've either got MOTION CONTROLS or sticks without aim assist

I agree with this statement, I've reached pretty high ranks in other games and splatoon is just really hard. The TTK is insanely fast, mechanics matter here alot than other games, high APM, over 100 variation of maps/weapons, and gear building. At least getting into competitive matches is easy.

In S4 I would like to see subs be tied to a cooldown instead of to your ink tank.
I think subspam, even if it isn't the strongest rn, is still just annoying and lame as fuck, and a problem waiting to happen if sum like jr enters the meta again.
