The players that stood out the most to me but didn't make the cut, I recommend anyone to reach out to these people and play with them because in a different world I could have played with any one of them #compsplatoon
LIST OF GREAT PLAYERS Isang/Aster, Plerm, Pre, 5(futureeve) , Aphisto. these are all pen players I considered for my luti team and all of them are super strong and with a committed team I can see them all doing great in the future Ooame(bucket) is very strong just inconsistent and was 1/2 bucket players that I had out of 70 tryouts Atlas, Pita, and Echo are all great sword players but unfortunately I didn't feel like they were a great pick to pair with the roller player I picked, but all 3 of these players can play at a high level Brik Cactus and Mondi were shooter players that stood out a lot and would have been a good slot on any team but unfortunately I also play their roles so having them on the team wouldn't make sense and they would really have to be extraordinary for me to switch to a different weapon In terms of off meta picks I really liked Jade(Squiffer) Hawaiian (Bow) Sponge(Rapid) they all showed me they could work their niche at a decent level but I wanted to go with something more familiar for my luti team

I will be doing my part to help raise the overall power of the scene by hosting events like these I hope you guys will participate weekly 🤍 #compsplatoon
I'm planning on hosting 3 1 hour blocks starting next week where I will stream teams or groups of individuals playing with each other in hopes of showcasing upcoming talent or helping people meet new teammates to possibly group up with. Ill be trying to host one of these once or twice friday-sunday 6EST-10EST I'll be reworking the tryout role in my server so people can sign up once I get that sorted 🙏 Lets fix the mid level problem 🤍

in the past i couldn't figure out how mentality/ego could be improved

My Midlevel Experience #compsplatoon
After playing 40+ hours with midlevel, I can confidently say it was the most miserable experience I’ve had playing this game mostly because I skipped this part of the scene back in S2 and didn’t realize how bad it could actually be. It’s not miserable because of overall skill level, because yeah everything is gonna feel worse outside of top level after being in it for long. The biggest thing hurting this part of the scene is ego. I had over 60 tryouts, and almost all of them said it’s hard for them to even get four people to try out with. That genuinely confused me, because for the most part everyone I played with felt extremely similar in skill, and I could easily see these players scrimming each other regularly and figuring out how to mesh over time. This explains a lot of why midlevel feels weaker as a whole. A lot of these players simply don’t get enough meaningful playtime outside of rare pickups or X Rank, so they’re missing the constant feedback loop that actually drives improvement. Playing against people at a similar level forces you to recognize patterns, and improve through adaptions. Over time, that raises the average skill for everyone involved. There were so many situations in games where I had to explain why we were losing or what we needed to change to win and I honestly think most of these players would’ve figured it out themselves eventually if they were consistently playing each other instead of isolating themselves or waiting for “better” lobbies. when players actually PLAY THE GAME, the average skill level naturally rises. This isn't entirely mid levels fault though, I think top level players can do a better job at providing knowledge to mid level players to improve but better questions need to be asked to top players too, all the time I see questions like oh what special is best or how do i play "insert weapon here" these are terrible questions and we need to move on to better questions like "what should i have done in this scenario here" b…

There’s a lot to take away from this post by Jared. A lot of hard hitting and pill swallowing information midlevel needs to start acting on. This is not a one person thing, this is an entire skill level thing. Midlevel has to do better if we all want to see improvements in the scene an ourselves.

what makes dynamo even more annoying for me is that in x rank it's impossible to queue with dynamos counters without them dittoing it since dynamo is in seperate queues from rapid pro and pencil. So you're just forced to spam any special or play the game slow because it's uncontested #compsplatoon

This is where someone needs to step up and be the morale booster.

I would always take on this role when I played competitively. You lost a match to an annoying strategy? Cope openly, who cares! You want your team to feel better immediately. "Well, we won the moral victory that's for sure"

Players need to be less demotivated after a loss as well comms will go quiet when that should neverrrr happen. I find it odd that comms go up when you're winning when it should be the opposite way around idk.

This is just general things I noticed let's see if I'll see more in the future
