For SQ map list how important it is that it balances out the maps at map list stage.
Like I could balance out so that both teams get equal amount of "votes" and then it might be that the end result favors one team over other. This just would be an easy fix for the "default maps" problem

One of the neat things about Excalibur 8s is that I can see feedback for comp.splat.top. One of the weird things about it though is that a lot of the "I don't know why I was placed so low, look at my results" conveniently forgets their most damaging losses.
I expected it, it's still weird to see.

One of the many issues with ELO like systems is this type of stuff can happen since order of matches matters a LOT :/

this entire thing has been such an exercise in creative action for me, I went from having vague intentions of action to having 13 people on a list to interview next with plans to get through all of them in the coming months

recorded the 7th interview - meaning assuming I am able to upload it without issue tomorrow, I will have completed my challenge of 1 a day for a week!
It is DEFINITELY an unsustainable schedule for me long run - but I think it helped me test my limits and really engross myself in it

I noticed some bug how the tournament pass randomizer works but how should it even work. Should I make the same hosting team always have the same pool and password for the whole tournament? So if you are assigned to host every match, you never changed pass or pool. Opinions?
