Has anyone else noticed that the plot lines for every piece of fiction related to political corruption are suddenly obsolete?

Today we won a big victory in Texas but the fight for democracy is not over. We all need to steel ourselves for the battles ahead. We won't win them all, but we can never lose sight of what we need to do to prepare fee and fair elections.

If only the world would take a lesson from Germany! They remain respectful and humbled by what happened; and it resonates throughout their diverse, multicultural communities. You won’t find a single statue there of anyone associated with the Nazi era, aside from the heroes who defeated it.

This reminds me of all of the Stumbling Stones that I saw throughout Germany - a plaque for every person who was disappeared during the holocaust, laid in the ground in front of whatever building they were taken from.
I made a point to stop and read everyone I stepped over to enter a door.
