It is frightening, even as someone who is generally a fan of the USA, to see what the country has become, I can only imagine how it feels to be a right-minded American citizen. Just a small thing, but parents, on parents’ evening, rather than say, ‘ooze he!?’ to your child, may I suggest a simple, ‘oh, which teacher / subject are you / do you teach?’ This usually prompts an introduction. If I was to say, ‘ooze she?!’ to your child, you would probably deem it quite rude.
