I don't know what the Senate is going to do. But if they do in fact fold in exchange for nothing, they will be living up to past performance. To expect the Senate to carry out the will of the American people is to misunderstand why it was created in the first place.

I think the MeToo movement freaked out a ton of men, made them feel called out for how they behave towards women. Instead of examining their behavior and wanting to do better, they doubled down and decided to act like even bigger dicks. Then, acted like they were the victims and bonded over that.
