Question for @charlieangus104.bsky.social : While we may disagree with PM Takaichi's policies, all she did was to mention the obvious about what would happen if Taiwan is invaded. The CCP's reaction has not been any dissimilar to Donald Trump's threats towards Canada. Any words of wisdom on this?
China issued an advisory for their citizens “to avoid Japan” in continuation of their fight against PM Takaichi after she stated that Japan would defend itself, if China were to seize Taiwan, followed by Chinese Ambassador to Japan threatening her to “chop her head off”.

This is another reason voting should be as compulsory as having to answer the census.
FYI: Australia has a compulsory voting system, voting turnout in Australia has never fallen below 90% since 1924, and offenders have to pay fees ranging from AU$20 to AU$180 depending on how many failures.
