Launched our first real episode of Mainly AI podcast. Mixed results based on listener technical background but everyone said it was fun and all the speakers sounded fluid. I’ll take that! You should give it a listen at mainlyaipodcast.com and let me know what YOU think!

Instead of diving into a podcast, I had a voice conversation with an AI on my short drive to work this morning. This satisfies my desire to search for things during my drive, when the time is too short to consume a podcast.

It never fails. A week after I start the journey to finish out my CS degree from SNHU, life gets super busy. Gotta get it done though.

Wait, you can still mine crypto profitably? Where do they get this energy at a price point that allows it?

I’ve recently come to realize how much creator-biased social media video content exists toward disparaging AI

What scares me about this: younger generations are getting their “facts” about AI among other things from YouTube / TikTok and using the info to form their opinions

Anyone else extra tired today?

Long weekends are supposed to make you less tired for the work week, right?

We have this “he barked, she said” issue with our dog so we created a chart on the fridge to track feedings AM/PM.

Pro tip: put the chart high enough that the pet cannot wipe off the dry erase with their paw in an attempt for a second meal
wife said the cat has already been fed. cat said she has never been fed in her life and wife laughed cruelly when this was brought to her attention. not sure who to believe

Hottest new celebrity in mainland China incoming
Thinking about trying to make it big on TikTok this year. Been putting it off for a while but 2025 feels right

I don’t think Kumail has met a honey badger, and I’ve seen some pretty nasty emus on TikTok
Here is my strongest personal belief: the worst animal is better than the best human.

This sucks. My policy is to tip 20% maximum allowed by expense policy and then tip extra cash on short rides.

I drove Uber for like 3 days and after a giving a ride to a smelly guy and having to carry in a woman’s groceries for no tip, I quit and have a soft spot for ride share drivers now.
I Ubered for like 10 hours today and the only tip I got was a crumpled up dollar bill I found on the floor of the backseat that someone must’ve accidentally dropped out of their pocket. Finders keepers bitch.

Americans will escalate the shit out of literally any situation. Just because.

We really are the most ornery group of humans.

They said “find a hobby you’re passionate about”

So I’m teaching myself to be a techno club DJ

No, I won’t play your wedding or birthday party, This is for me… and maybe a thousand people on a dance floor in Ibiza if I get good enough

Between following @mcuban.bsky.social on bluesky and watching him on Shark Tank, part of me wants to invent something just so I can meet the guy. He’s obviously smart and seems like a lot of fun.

Also, every garage door opener has a cord you can pull above the car that allows you you manually lift open the door, in case you didn’t get this message in time
Heard this on TikTok. Thought I’d pass it along. For anyone who needs to hear this in Los Angeles, go put gas in your car. Take your car out of the garage in case the power goes out and you can’t open the garage door.

I should have ordered an automatic weight bench but I suppose this manual model will do

I have said repeatedly I will only run if I’m being chased by a bear

Thinking about taking up running in the new year, does anyone have a bear in excellent physical shape they can lend?

Just learned the hard way about how asking an innocent question on this platform can quickly escalate into a shitstorm

Also just learned that I can’t control the replies when I reply to someone else’s post

Whoops, sorry

What’s going on with all these close calls and near misses by airplanes?

Could it be that companies like ATP Flight School are cutting corners to put commercial pilots in the air? Or is it an ATC issue?
