I saw someone who looked exactly like Lin-Manuel Miranda this morning. Even though I know it most definitely wasn't him walking through Kings Cross, I still feel starstruck.

The Microsoft Office suite is excellent! As long as you aren't collaborating with colleagues and only work in silos...

For those who forget to take time off throughout the year. Here's a reminder to book some leave in a few days of annual leave in a couple of months.

Book it in now so you don't get to May and realise you've not had a break.

You don't always need to have concrete plans to take annual leave!

The @biggive.bsky.social Christmas Challenge is a great opportunity to discover local small charities doing amazing things but may not have a huge marketing budget to spread the word about their work.

Check them out: donate.biggive.org/christmas-ch...

It's always heartwarming to see one of our stories be so well received when we share it publicly. But the best feeling is when we share it with the young person we've worked with and they feel proud of the story too!

The sheer volume of marketing emails after buying a product online is so unhinged.

Hun, you're coming on too strong...

I learnt how to knit in 2020 but I still haven't quite mastered the art of knitting mindfully. I always add the pressure of starting a new project for a gift and then give myself a less than ideal amount of time to finish it.

@ChanceUK research Primary school exclusions are at an all-time high—and it’s the most vulnerable children who are being let down. Over 97% of excluded pupils have special education need or disabilities, and 90% of those excluded in primary won’t pass GCSE English or Maths.

I recently heard someone say, 'When you can learn to sit with your uncomfortable emotions and self-regulate, you can become the most secure and confident version of yourself'.

One of my friends has decided to start a ritual of going for a swim every year on her birthday. She'd reflected on previous years and found that the birthdays when she went for a swim were some of her favourites. What are your birthday rituals?

Now and again I think about this magpie. I like to think she's still mooching about, carefree and being a nuisance.

Being a storyteller is a huge responsibility when you're telling someone else's story. It's good to be reminded of that.

Interesting... might be the charity bubble I exist in but this doesn't reflect the chats I've been in recently at all.

Lots of people who were very hesitant about Keir have viewed him as having more integrity following his actions over the past few weeks - and certainly more than past leaders.
🧵Bit of bumpy polling for the Government: in today's Playbook PM - our finding that Starmer's approval has sunk to its lowest level this year at minus 16 - down 27 points from his post election high: a short honeymoon with voters. What might be driving it?

It's heartbreaking that there is this much need and not enough support.

My frustration with the media's reporting on children's mental health is that there isn't enough focus on how valuable early intervention can be - before the point of needing NHS support.

NHS referrals for anxiety in children more than double pre-Covid levels

There should be a bank holiday in October and more evenly spread throughout the year's final quarter. August to December feels way too long without one.
