What do YOU want the Health Minister to know about eating disorders?

I’m meeting Stephen Kinnock MP about the need for more research into ED. But it’s also a chance to share more. I’ve heard from experts by experience. But, if you could have the Health Minister hear one thing, what would it be?

Good to meet with Vanessa Longley, CEO of Beat, to discuss tackling the eating disorder crisis.

In my 6 years as Chair of the ED APPG, I’ve seen the situation worsen. We must keep pushing for better services and stronger support for those affected.

Great to see coverage of Mayor of London meeting some @ChanceUK
mentees. Mentors can be role models at a critical point in children’s lives, most importantly, together, they can find solutions to give children hope for their future.

@ChanceUK research Primary school exclusions are at an all-time high—and it’s the most vulnerable children who are being let down. Over 97% of excluded pupils have special education need or disabilities, and 90% of those excluded in primary won’t pass GCSE English or Maths.

A call out to every one of Chance UK Youth Workers and all Youth Workers this #YouthWorkWeek. Growing up today is tough: children face more challenges than ever before, and they often feel they’re facing them alone.

Are we surprised families are losing confidence in the system? BBC on challenges faced by children with SEND shows families feeling let down. @ChanceUK we see families who‘ve waited years for support.
