Took dogs out after dinner & as I went to bring in the suet saw eyes watching me from other side of fence, leaned in expecting raccoon or opossum - NOPE

STUNNING Gray Fox ( Urocyon cinereoargenteus) like 6 feet away - just looked at me then quietly went off to their left.

A brown interpretive sign in a prairie. It's titled Magnificent Migratory Monarchs. It shows a map of the distribution of monarch butterflies and the route they take during migration. The bottom bar includes photos of 5 different species of milkweed that grow in the area. The right-hand side of the panel shows the monarch life cycle and how it fits into the year. An interpretive panel detailing the evolution of the channel of the Assiniboine River in Manitoba. The left third shows how the river used to flow into Glacial Lake Agassiz, forming a huge delta that you can still detect on the landscape today. The middle explains the process called avulsion when a slow-moving river build up sediment to the point that it breaks the bank and starts a new channel. The last third shows the different channels the Assiniboine river used to have over the last 9000 years. A blue interpretive sign mounted along the Red River in Selkirk Manitoba. It tells the story of the construction of the lift bridge that can be seen in the distance crossing the river. It's a sunny, summer day and all of the trees along the riverbank are green. An interpretive panel in a garden showing a combination of woodland wildflowers and the animals that pollinate them. It's titled: Bees and Beyond- Woodland Pollinators. It features the bell-like red columbine with a male ruby-throated hummingbird flying in front of it. Below are purple harebells, wild strawberries and yellow downy violets. They have a yellow and black hover fly on them. On the right of the image are white turtlehead flowers, white Canada anemone and yellow black-eyed Susans. They are being visited by a green sweat bee, the orange and black Milbert's tortoiseshell butterfly, yellow flower beetle and a tricolored bumblebee.
