If America still had a fully functioning democracy, Donald Trump’s speech Tuesday to the assembled generals would have ended his presidency.

Absolutely horrifying. Stories like this about how American tax dollars are being wasted to withhold healthcare from women around the world are getting buried. Grateful for @msf.ca, Senators Shaheen and Schatz and leaders around the world who are trying to block this insanity

How extreme is the June 7 Memorandum on federalizing the National Guard?

One of several issues: It has NO geographic limit. None. No mention of California or any other state. It's open-ended.

Now this from President Trump: "Well, we're going to have troops everywhere."⬇️
Trump: Well, we're going to have troops everywhere.

Reporter: What’s the bar for sending in the Marines

Trump: The bar is what I think it is.

This is a fever dream. The city is not under migrant occupation. This whole thing kicked off because ICE began an intense operation across the city to raid Home Depots and nail salons and places where random undocumented immigrants might be going about their day working a job.

We’re in the DOGE Subcommittee hearing, but where’s Elon? Is the “oversight” in the room with us?

Republicans wanted to talk about NGOs and Stacey Abrams. But, Trump’s out here slapping a for sale sign on the White House lawn—and y’all wanna play games?

I am not a practicing Catholic but I have so much love & respect for Pope Francis for speaking out about climate change and migration as urgent global struggles that we all need to come together to deal with. Rest in peace Holy Father.
Pope Francis believed that love and compassion should come before bureaucracy or dogma. That kind of courage is exactly what we need more of in the world right now. Choose humanity first.
