If only we could just believe women.
Kinda strange we have living survivors right here and we’re waiting for what’s left of some files

Do you know why girls used to get married at 15?

Because they were forced to

They were “property”

They had no rights

They couldn’t vote, own a home or have a credit card

Just because we used to do it that way doesn’t make it right.

They were kids then & they’re kids now

Women are watching abusive dynamics play out on the national stage and for many it feels very, very familiar to what they’ve experienced regularly—

I hope midterms are a referendum

This man should be Senate Minority Leader
Chris Murphy: "The fact of the matter is if you don't put constraints on Donald Trump's illegality, this democracy isn't going to be here next November. It isn't going to be here in 2028. So Democrats, yes, have to draw firm moral lines in the sand right now."

They will charge what the market will bear. Period. That's capitalism.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that nobody lowers prices unless they have to.

They don’t.

And then think of what a cornered psychopathic human being with the morals and instincts of a rat and control of over five thousand nuclear warheads would do.
This is a very dangerous moment for the country and the world. A cornered rat will do anything to escape.

A broken clock can be right twice a day, but in no way is MTG a good person.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I do support him and his administration ... his remarks of course have been hurtful ... unfortunately it has all come down to the Epstein files ... I will continue to do my small part to get the files released."

It's never been about protecting children.
“Parents who, after consulting with a doctor and a psychologist, allow their 15-year-old child to transition commit child abuse. The child is too young to consent!”

--Megyn R. Kelly

“Grown men who have sex with your 15-year-old? Big whoop! It’s not like she’s 8. LOL!”

Let Trump be the anchor ⚓️ around every GOP neck for a generation.

The only reason they are distancing themselves now is for political expediency.

Huh. Weird.
Huh.

Trump dropped the tariffs on coffee, beef, and tropical fruit to LOWER PRICES.

I thought other countries paid for those?

Jeff Bezos paid $50 million for a wedding. He just got a $16 billion tax break. He just laid off 60,000 people.

And you're furious about a kid getting a free school lunch?

Oh delightful. So we'll get to do this again...
*Government will reopen
*ACA subsidies NOT extended, causing premiums to rocket for 24M+
*A bunch of Republican senators could net millions in taxpayer dollars for themselves, with at least one hoping to net more than $1M.
*Intoxicating hemp banned
*Govt could shut again 1/31

Of course she is. Coward.
Nancy Mace is expected to pull her support for the petition to release the Epstein Files, the day before Adelita Grijalva is sworn in.

The first and last lines of Joni Ernst’s legacy as a human on earth will be that she was instrumental in the confirmation of the Sec of Defense most hostile to women serving in military, and she knew that when she voted for him.

@schumer.senate.gov thinks we're stupid. He is a weak leader and wholly unprepared to meet this moment.

He's working for the corporations - not Americans.

He should resign as leader.
One of two things is true:

1. Chuck Schumer genuinely felt this is a bad deal, so he voted against it, but he couldn't keep Senate Dems in line because he's a lackluster leader.

OR

2. Chuck Schumer orchestrated the shutdown deal w/ retiring Dems because he's a bad strategist and got rattled.

There are Mamdani's everywhere! They just aren't running to serve our country's largest city. Here in Iowa, it's Travis Terrell who's running in Iowa's first district.
The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon
