Planted a random pack of unspecified hot peppers from the Dollar Store. Didn't expect much from it. Wasn't sure if they were meant to be green/yellow/red but picked a few green ones today just to see. My 12 year old decided to be the tester. Went from "this isn't too bad" to freaking out. 😬 Oops

Pay attention, Canada. If Alberta is successful in this book banning, this will spread. Look around you, b/c this is how it starts. We're on the same ledge the US was on. And we either start fighting this right-wing rise now, or we follow the Americans over the edge.

Was supposed to be accepting my scholarship and Dean's List award tonight, but my body had other plans and I spent the day in Emerg instead 😒. I will be walking across the stage tomorrow to accept my degree, even if I have to drag an IV pole alongside of me!!!

i feel like i've said this before, but an important detail i don't think many people consider about voluntary or involuntary care for mental health or addiction is that it's not that easy to put a pause on your life to seek or be in care. we are societally not set up for it.
