It's been about 6 weeks since I made the decision to go No Contact with almost all the MAGA nuts in my life. I first had guiltily feelings about overreacting, but as each week goes by and as each new low is reached I have fewer and fewer regrets.

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

Since I feel the need to post something to offset my random lurking: This adorable barnacle is Patch. I wanted to call her S'mores, but when we got her from the shelter she already knew her name, so I took the path of least resistance for her.
