No. Next question.

You would think a group called "Pro-Housing Pittsburgh" would praise the success of ACE Innamorato's 500 in 500 Initiative...but I guess they're too busy trying to remove community input on development.

If you support affordable housing and believe that inclusion should be mandatory, not voluntary, show up tomorrow morning to oppose Councilperson Strassburger's IZ amendment. It's nothing more than another attempt to let developers have their way at the cost of existing residents

Without looking anything up, approx. how much do you think it costs to build a single unit of housing?

Yesterday, Pittsburgh City Council Member Erika Strassburger tried to gut the inclusionary zoning bill by sneaking in amendments that no one in the public nor her fellow council members had been given sufficient time to review or read.

For the second time this year, Pittsburgh YIMBYs have introduced new data at the last minute to circumvent public feedback to try and kill Inclusionary Zoning, all while talking about wanting to discuss the future of housing in "good faith". Shame on them.

If you didn't think the foundations were bad before, they're all now supporting some form of "ethical" AI use and encouraging it for nonprofits. Meanwhile some are funding environmental preservation. What a fucking joke.

Pro-Housing Pittsburgh is once again bashing Inclusionary Zoning. They've spent more time complaining and mocking social justice groups than coming up with a solution.

Never trust an "advocacy group" that is predominantly white men that mocks groups led predominantly by people of color/women.

Abundance YIMBYs have started a new publication with the most libertarians I've ever seen in one place. They're trying to claim this is for "the left" yet have clear references to race science in part of what they hope to accomplish. (Don't worry, they walked back the transphobia last night!)

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it: Anyone who thinks the community is a burden should not be involved with housing or any form of community development work.

This does not build trust and is why people don't like YIMBYs.

Just so we're all clear: It's not a coincidence that the first senator they've used physical force against is Sen. Alex Padilla, a Latino man representing California.

A United States senator was physically removed from a DHS press conference for having the audacity to do his job and question this administration on behalf of his constituents.

They want us to be afraid and silent. We won't give in.
California Sen. Alex Padilla was just forcibly removed from a DHS press conference and handcuffed.

"I am Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary."

An MSNBC anchor just definitively claimed Padilla didn't identify himself when video clearly shows he did. So fucking irresponsible. This is how lies spread.

This is going on *RIGHT NOW* in Spokane.

SPD has declared an unlawful assembly and multiple people have been arrested. Police are preparing to teargas peaceful protesters.

I need answers from @mayorspokane.bsky.social and SPD about why they unnecessarily escalated this situation and supported ICE.
Video shared from a protestor shows a wider angle of protestors and our reporter getting pushed back by purported law enforcement agents at the ICE office in #spokane

This site is way too quiet for the level of violence ICE is causing across the United States.

The news before police show up: We're starting to see folks gather to protest ICE

The news after police show up: We're reporting scenes of chaos! Rioters are clashing with the police! Make sure you get this on camera - oh! that's tear gas!!
