I’m so saddened to hear of Faith’s death. I’m absolutely shocked and devastated. She was such a wonderful person and fearless fighter for Coloradans. ❤️

As I think more about the design of the creature in Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein, I keep thinking about this quote from Mary Shelley; Victor’s initial reaction to the living creation.
“His limbs were in proportion, and I had selected his features as beautiful. Beautiful! —Great God!”

To me, he was just “Uncle Bob.” Some of my earliest childhood memories are all thanks to Robert Redford. Thanksgiving at the A-frame or holed away in the Mouse House, Pete’s Dragon on VHS, everything that you could hope for at Sundance.

This really has been an extraordinarily strong year for books and it’s all thanks to writers like Jinwoo Chong, Stephen Graham Jones, Rob Hart, and Taylor Tracy!

I’m incredibly lucky to live in a state where journalists like @kylec.bsky.social choose not to normalize the abnormal and the authoritarian.
A US President threatening to use the military against civilians in an American city is not normal and journalists who choose to ignore or normalize this should explain their choice to the communities they serve.
