Both Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are absolute lunatics, but we need to take their words seriously. These are not the ramblings of madmen with no influence. They are coming from those in power. They are calling some Americans the enemy and declaring war on them. This is urgent.

Republicans can’t win on their policies, so they are trying to dodge accountability by rewriting the rules. These lawmakers are going out of their way to silence the will of the people and deliberately undermine our democracy.
The White House is continuing to pressure more states to gerrymander their congressional maps because they are afraid of voters holding them accountable for their unpopular policies.
